Confirmation Program

This is the first of the two-year program to prepare students for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
 

Liturgical Ministry

7th grade and new 8th grade students may choose to be trained as a lector, minister of hospitality, or altar server. Please fill out this form to let the coordinator know which ministry you choose.

• Altar Server training: please contact Fr. Wilson at the parish office (if the student has not already been trained).
• Lector and minisister of hospitality training: Saturday, October 26th, 2024
  • 2:00 - 3:45 PM for Lectors
  • 3:00 - 4:00 PM for Ministers of Hospitality

Commitment Liturgy: Sunday, November 10th, 2023 at 10:45 AM
The Commitment Liturgy is a special ceremony during the 10:45AM Sunday Liturgy where the 7th grade and new 8th grade students make public their intention to become, or be more fully, a friend of Jesus.  Discipleship is a community journey.  The catechists, parents, Fr. Wilson, Sr. Jean Flannelly and the rest of the parish are here to help the Confirmation candidates.  At the Commitment Liturgy parishoners pick up cards to pray for the candidates. We encourage the candidates to allow their prayers to support them.
